Games

With the growing spectrum of games on the market it is difficult to know where to go next for rehab friendly games. Wii Sports, Wii Fit and Wii Play are obvious starting points but there are many games out their, certainly for the younger population, that have excellent qualities to promote specific aspects of exercise, movement, co-ordination amongst others.

Having a variety of games to play on the Wii as part of therapy can keep the interest of those using it for longer, especially with children or young adults, but finding a Wii game that is accessible, if movements or skills are limited can be a costly process in terms of trial and error. This page, and pages linked from here aim to offer an overview as to a variety of games, their accessibility to limited movements and their contributions to any therapy programmes that a person may be working towards.
